DIAL venture ate into AAI pie

Revenue share of the Airports Authority of India (AAI) was reduced by over Rs103 crore as a result of joint ventures floated by DIAL(Delhi International Airport Ltd) for cargo and car parking services at the Delhi airport, the CAG has said in its audit report.

HT had first reported a confidential note written by the Airport economic regulatory authority to the aviation ministry pointing out that the JVs were depriving state-owned AAI of precious revenues.
