Divine intervention
I had an unforgettable experience recently in the driving license renewal office in Chandigarh. I was waiting in the queue with my papers. There was a queue only for senior citizens and ladies.
I had an unforgettable experience recently in the driving license renewal office in Chandigarh. I was waiting in the queue with my papers. There was a queue only for senior citizens and ladies.
But the queue was quite long with so many ladies and young girls ahead of me. I was the only senior citizen with shining grey hair.
While waiting in queue for my turn to submit my papers, I found that there were 24 people in the queue before me. And the counter clerk was taking 6 to 7 minutes in clearing each case. I calculated that my turn will come after a very long time.
As I had resigned to my fate and the tiring wait, I could not do anything but keenly observing the methodology of processing the files. I saw a young lady was rechecking the files before they were finally accepted for fee payment.
My focused line of sight met the glance of that lady. I could feel a ‘divine signal’ on her face. It flashed in my mind if I knew someone like her in the office, my work could be done in no time.
A miracle of sort happened! She came towards me waved. Not very sure she was waving at me, I kept quiet but she again waved her hand and asked me to come to the counter. As I reached the counter, she asked me to hand over my file.
She took the file and checked the documents and went to her seat and came back in a couple of minutes with a receipt and asked me to pay the requisite fee for renewal of my driving license. I could complete my work in no time and happily left for home.
On my way back, I was wondering what on earth made her do my job out of turn. Then I realised that she too felt the feeling of divinity as she looked at me! Perhaps, that was the moment inner voice was transmitted and received by two individuals!
