Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and AIADMK supremo Jayalalithaa on Friday described as a 'media creation' the idea that DMK-led DPA in the state was formidable and said the AIADMK-BJP combine would do well in the May 10 Lok Sabha elections.
She told ZEE TV in the midst of her campaign in the city that 'It is not formidable as you think. We will fare well in the hustings,' she added.
Asked about differences that had cropped up among the opposition parties on projecting Congress President Sonia Gandhi as the Prime Ministerial candidate, she said this was not a new thing and had been there always.
She said the people of the state wanted the continuance of Vajpayee Government at the Centre and expressed the hope that they would vote for the AIADMK-BJP combine.
'I am confident that we will do very well,' she said.
