Eight killed, 12 injured in road mishap in Bihar

Eight members of a band party were killed and 12 others injured when a minibus in which they were travelling overturned near Tikiha bridge in Kishanganj district today, police said.

Eight members of a band party were killed and 12 others injured when a minibus in which they were travelling overturned near Tikiha bridge in Kishanganj district today, police said.

They were returning in an overcrowded bus to Kishanganj from Kochadhaman after performing at a marriage ceremony, the police said.

All the eight persons were killed on the spot. The injured were admitted to Matagujri Medical College and Hospital, where the condition of five was stated to be critical.
