Fidelity appoints 2 new fund managers

Fidelity Fund has expanded its investment team in India with the appointment of two new fund managers.

Rajesh Singh has been appointed the fund manager of Fidelity's new equity fund while Sameer Kulkarni will manage its Fixed income portfolio, a release said.

Singh has been with Fidelity since 2000 and has worked in its Boston and Hong Kong offices, while Sameer was the head of the fixed income at Franklin Templeton Asset Management Company in Mumbai.

Fidelity Fund Management Private Limited is the Indian arm of Fidelity International Limited.
