"Since time has come to weed out the corrupt and anti-national elements to resurrect India back to its pristine glory, an all India introspective meet of all cadres is required to work out modalities in this regard," said Indresh Kumar.
Rashtriya Swayam Sevak National Executive member Indresh Kumar who is entrusted with a job to convene a National Security Convention by Forum for Integrated National Security (FINS) J&K chapter to be held at Haridwar in March 9-10, 2010, while addressing an elite gathering of citizens drawn from different political and social organizations here in Jammu said that such need has arisen out of the present 'uncomfortable' situation in India which is facing multi-dimensional threats from within and outside also.
“The Pakistan terrorism on one side now followed by Chinese aggression on the other has sandwiched our country in between that is feeling choked due to certain weak policies for which time is ripe for some action," informed the National Executive member of RSS adding that the national convention being organized by FINS is an open invitation for all including government representatives but would not include any political element into it.
“All segment of the Indian society from bureaucratic to corporate sectors and defence to all political parties have been given open invitation to attend the two-day convention and present their views to work out for the salvation," said Indresh Kumar who also deliberated on the core committee at the highest level constituted for the purpose followed by sub committees at different state levels that would help in maintaining the show successfully.
While detailing on the convention’s modalities and role to be executed by FINS to gather all India public opinion regarding safeguarding the national security, Indresh Kumar said that the attempt mooted by the Forum would definitely bring a striking change on the national panorama towards the betterment of India.
The RSS leader chose 26/11 to announce the FINS convention as a tribute and a pledge for a new movement against the forces inimical to India's internal as well as external security.
Socialist Democratic Party president Darakshana Andrabi present among the dignitaries while talking on the sidelines of the function appreciated the move mooted by FINS to revolutionize the India's threat but with a caution." The convention is a very good move provided it remains free of political influence and works towards safeguarding of national security in right perspective".
