Four people were arrested on Tuesday in Orissa's Rayagada district with Rs 165,000 in fake currency, police said.

They were arrested near Gunpur town, about 70 km from the district headquarters of Rayagada with counterfeit currency notes, mostly of Rs.500 denominations, AK Singh district superintendent of police, told IANS.

“We have also seized some half printed notes from them of different denominations,” he added.

Rayagada is about 390 km from Bhubaneswar.
