Friends marred movie career: Aniston

Actor Jennifer Aniston still struggles to distance herself from the character she played on the hit TV show.

Actress Jennifer Aniston is sure that her success as Rachel Green in the hit TV show Friends has impeded her movie career.

According to Contactmusic, Aniston was thrilled to find fame with the show but now confesses that she struggles to distance herself from the character even though the show ended years ago.

She is also grateful to the director Nicole Holofcener who directed her in the new film Friends With Money and thus giving her a chance to show her range as an actress.

She says: "Unfortunately there are re-runs everywhere. Fortunately, we have directors like Nicole in the world who don't give a s**t! That baggage didn't stop her seeing me as an actor."
