Gayle replaces Afridi for second ODI

A team spokesman said, the West Indies cricketer was part of a 12-man team from which a super sub will be confirmed before the toss.

West Indian Chris Gayle will replace Pakistan's Shahid Afridi in the ICC World XI line-up for the second one-day international against Australia at Docklands stadium on Friday.

A team spokesman said Thursday Gayle was part of a 12-man team from which a super sub will be confirmed before the toss.

Australia won the opening game in the series by 93 runs on Wednesday.
