Police moved a petition in the First Class Magistrate Court at Ramankari near Alappuzha on Thursday citing that subjecting Om Prakash and Puthenpalam Rajesh for polygraph test and narco analysis were necessary to ascertain their involvement in the crime.

Prakash and Rajesh, both wanted in several cases, had travelled with George on the day he was fatally stabbed allegedly by members of a gang who were on their way to carry out a criminal operation.

Prakash, who reportedly had long association with George, had claimed to have helped in his business deals.

During interrogation, the duo told the police that they did not commit the crime. They fled the scene fearing arrest after the gangsters stabbed George to death following a sudden scuffle.

Both of them surrendered at Tirunelveli in Tamil Nadu on September 8. The court posted the police plea for considering on Friday.
