"Before Prime Minister Manmohan Singh's visit to the Temple, the NSG team, on March 23, frisked every nook and corner," Arjan said adding that during the search operation, the locks of the treasury room were broken since the search team was keen to see what was kept in the room.

The treasury room, Arjan said, was sealed on the orders of the court of law.

The Temple management, however, could not object to the search operation carried out by the NSG team, Arjan said.

Meanwhile, the opposition group of the Temple Management, Durgiana Sangrah Committee led by Ramesh Sharma has filed a written complaint with the Senior Superintendent of Police Amritsar RPS Brar alleging that the management of the Durgiana Temple led by its president Surinder Arjan had broken the sealed locks of the Tohsakhanna and took away the precious Gold ornaments.
