According to traders, it is not practical to close commercial establishments in NCR by 7pm as many people hang out with their families and friends late in the evenings.

Most of the population living in areas such as Indirapuram, Kaushambi, Vaishali, Vasundhara and Sahibabad belong to the service class who go out for shopping during late evenings.
