Hawaiian express

City restaurant organises week-long festival.

Bandra’s famous watering hole, Hawaiian Shack will host its first Hawaiian Festival from December 1 to 7, between 7 pm and 1.15 am. During the week, the restaurant will serve a variety of seafood cuisine, special cocktails and distribute gifts and hampers.

Says owner Sadhna Romy, “The interiors have been done up in a floral theme, which will energise the ambience. We have created a cosy atmosphere where people can leave their high heels and LV bags home and just walk in wearing a pair of cool flip-flops, skirts and shorts.”

The festival opens on Wednesday where celebrities like actor Riya Sen and TV stars will rub shoulders with regular guests. DJ Priyanka, DJ Sa will play on two nights. Hawaiian Night, will celebrate traditions of the Pacific archipelago. Entry is free on all nights and some drinks are complementary for girls.
