HINDI COMMITTEE of the Ministry of HRD, comprising senior officials of Rajbhasha cell, visited Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology (MNNIT) and took stock of the progress of Hindi language and its implementation in the institute, on Wednesday.

The delegation led by Bantuni assistant director, Rajbhasha cell, met senior officials of MNNIT administration including director Prof Arun Baran Samaddar.
The delegation also held a workshop-cum-training programme for the employees of MNNIT. Giving this information, chairman of MNNIT Hindi cell, Dr Dinesh Chandra, said officials stressed over on the implementation of Hindi in official work and its development as the media of communication. The officials also discussed the means and ways to promote Hindi in the institute.
In the workshop, Bantuni highlighted efforts of the Central government in promoting Hindi in technical institutes He said the Rajbhasha cell was providing various Hindi software and programmes which facilitated people to operate computers and perform their normal and routine work in Hindi.
