After winning the toss, BCA invited the opponents to bat first. Hoshangabad capitalised the opportunity of setting the target. With the help of fine half century by Imran Khan, the team of Hoshangabad scored 236.

Imran’s quick fire inning of 51 runs off 35 deliveries was studded with four sky rocketing sixes and two fours. Mayank Chaturvedi was the second highest scorer for Hoshangabad. He scored 35 runs. Farhan Ali contributed 31 runs total the total.

Hoshangabad scored 236 runs for the loss of nine wickets. Samir Mirikar and Mohammad Naved scalped three wickets each for the BCA team. Chasing the target, BCA batsmen failed to score runs at the asking runs rate.

Man of the Match of the last match Arvind Chaudhary, however, played according to the expectations. But the lack of support from other batsmen restricted BCA total to 175. Ritesh Gaur and Farhan Ali claimed three wickets each for the team.

Chief guest of the man of the match presentation ceremony, newly appointed chairman of BJP Sports Cell Deepak Joshi presented HT Man of the Match trophy to Imran Khan.
