Hotel gears up Hurley-Nayar marriage
An 18th century heritage hotel tucked away in the hills of Rajasthan is gearing up to host the fairy tale wedding.
An 18th century heritage hotel tucked away in the hills of Rajasthan is gearing up to host the fairy tale wedding of Liz Hurley and Arun Nayar, sources say. But before that a birthday!
The Devigarh Fort Palace is situated 26 km northeast of Udaipur, the city of lakes. It is a perfect romantic getaway in the desert state.
A high-level source said the hotel has been booked for the occasion and the wedding will take place on Saturday, a day after Nayar's birthday celebrations at the same venue.
The hotel offers 23 suites that are luxurious and beautiful, yet equipped with the most modern of conveniences.
Most suites include an individual terrace or garden. Each suite is embellished with marble and semi-precious stones, while the public spaces are designed around different metals.
Sources say the hotel is being given a facelift and it would be decorated with lots of flowers and "rangoli" on the day of the marriage.
However, the hotel management said the hotel was being festooned for Nayar's birthday celebrations. They said they were not aware of any marriage.
Top industrialists and some of Bollywood's biggest names, including Aishwarya Rai, Rani Mukherjee, Shipla Shetty, Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan are going to be a part of the celebrations, sources added.
