HP police register case on 'obscene' CD 'defaming' veteran Cong leader

The crime branch of the Himachal police has registered a case against the distributors of the CD - alleged to be a Delhi-based doctor -- on a complaint by a man named Hem Singh of Sain Mohalla in Mandi on charges of dissemination of obscene material, forgery and harming reputation. Sections of the IT Act have also been added to the FIR.

Hem Singh has claimed that someone had left at his doorstep the CD - going viral in the region -- in which a Delhi-based doctor claims to have filmed the veteran leader having sex with a young woman. It is learnt that the CD would be sent for forensic testing to ascertain its authenticity.
