
HS results: 57 toppers, 48 from BNSD
BNSD SHIKSHA Niketan Inter College broke its own record of the maximum number of students figuring on the merit list of UP Board High School examinations this year, with 48 of its students securing positions on the merit list. To add to the laurels, a total of 57 — a record by all means — out of 78 students s on the merit list are from Kanpur City alone.
It is noteworthy that in 2004, 35 students of BNSD Shiksha Niketan Inter College had secured positions on the merit list of High School examinations, including the top 10, barring only the 9th position.
Besides, three students of BNSD Shiksha Niketan Girls Higher Secondary School, Meston Road, two students each from Sardar Patel Inter College, Barra and Onkareshwar SVN Inter College and one student each from NLKVM Inter College, Kanpur and GVS Higher Secondary School, Karchulipur also secured positions on the merit list of High School examinations, the results of which were declared today.
Making the college proud, Shubhankar Khare not only got first rank on the merit list but also became the third student from BNSD Shiksha Niketan to grab the top spot on the merit list of High School examination. Khare attained 89.66 per cent marks. Ankur Pandey and Somya Pandey of the same institution shared third position. Both secured 89.16 per cent marks.
Punit Kaushik, also from the BNSD, secured 4th position with 89 per cent marks, while Shivam Prakash Maurya and Ankita Tripathi with 88.50 per cent marks secured 5th place. Anshita Kapoor of BNSD Shiksha Niketan Girls Higher Secondary School secured 6th rank with 88.33 per cent marks, while Ashish Nigam and Suyash Mishra of BNSD Inter College stood 7th by obtaining 88.16 percent marks.
Ashish Kumar Singh and Sparsh Singhai, both from BNSD Shiksha Niketan Inter College, got 88 percent marks and were placed 8th. Neelanshu Shukla, Sunil Kumar Singh and Manogya Tiwari from BNSD Shiksha Niketan Inter College secured 9th position with 87.83 marks. Gopal Pandey, Kartik Tiwari, Nitish Kumar Singh, Prateek Kushwaha and Aditi, also from BNSD Shiksha Niketan stood 10th by securing 87.66 per cent marks.
Ankit Agrahari of Sri NLKVM Inter College and Sohini Sachan of Sardar Patel Inter College, Barra got 17th position with 86.50 percent marks. Shivesh Srivastava of Onkareshwar SVN Inter College got 18th rank with 86.33 per cent marks.
