NHRC Acting Chairperson Justice G P Mathur, former NHRC Chairperson Justice A S Anand, NHRC members Justice B C Patel and Satyabrata Pal will be the prominent speakers, apart from several human rights activists, a NHRC press note here said.

Representatives of various stakeholders will participate in the interactive sessions of the workshop to be held at NASC Complex opposite Todapur village here.

Topics to be covered at the workshop include UN declarations on human rights and other international standards, legal framework, and issues concerning human rights defenders, it added.
