Prime Minister Manmohan Singh on Wednesday sought to dismiss suggestions that he was adopting a 'diplomatic stand' by not attacking the Left openly in his election campaign in view of reported threats to his government from them.

"I cannot change my style. I have maintained the same style for the last two years," Singh said in Kochi addressing a press conference.
He was asked whether he was maintaining a diplomatic stand in view of CPI(M) General Secretary Prakash Karat's recent tough talk over the way the UPA government has been handling various issues in "violation" of the CMP.
