'I'm not sure if Bush will address Parliament'

Lok Sabha Speaker Chatterjee, was asked by reporters in New Delhi whether he would join protests against Bush.

"Nobody has informed me so far," was Somnath Chatterjee's reaction to a question whether US President George W Bush would address a joint session of Parliament.

The Lok Sabha Speaker Chatterjee, was asked by reporters in New Delhi whether he would join his party's planned protests against Bush.

"Not as a Speaker", he shot back.

He, however, hastened to add that if the visiting President addresses the members of Parliament, he would do his constitutional duty.
