India 'compelling case' for permanent UNSC seat

Prime Minister Manmohan Singh on Monday said India has a "compelling case" for permanent membership of the United Nations Security Council (UNSC).

Addressing a joint press conference along with US President George W Bush after holding wide-ranging talks, he said India could contribute "significantly" to the UN decision-making.
