Indian and Pakistan officials are understood to have reached an "arrangement" over the pricing formula for Iran's gas to be delivered via a proposed seven billion dollar pipeline.
Indian officials said "while no agreements have been reached, but negotiators at the trilateral talks have reached some arrangement" which now will be submitted to the respective governments for approval.
"There has been some arrangement, not exactly a price deal," the official said.
The trilateral talks have been under way in Teheran since Wednesday aimed at reaching a consensus over the price.
