Addressing a press conference in Thiruvananthapuram, Rajagopal said the agreement made just few days before the Lok Sabha poll dates were announced "raised suspicion".

Entering into an agreement for missile technology with an Israel company when India has the technology and capability to develop modern missles also needed explanation, he said.

"There is some mystery in the agreement with the Israel Aerospace Industries for Medium Range Surface-to-Air Missile for a total outlay of Rs 10,000 crore," he said.
