J-K government receives Rs 3481 cr from centre under PMRP

The Jammu and Kashmir government has received Rs 3481 crores from the Centre for various projects under Prime Minister's Reconstruction Plan.

The Jammu and Kashmir government has received Rs 3481 crores from the Centre for various projects under Prime Minister's Reconstruction Plan (PMRP).

While replying to the question of CPI(M) legislator MY Tarigami during the question hour, Finance Minister AR Rather on Saturday said that J-K government has received Rs 3481.59 crores for various projects in the state under PMRP till date.

He said that Rs 567 crores have been received for Baglihar hydro-electric power project, Rs 1180.64 crore for transmission and distribution of power set up, Rs 119 crores for Sawlakote access road, Rs 35 crores for Ramban-Dham Kund road, Rs 127 crores for Mughal road, Rs 101.10 crores for Khanbal-Pahalgam road, Rs 101.90 crores for Narbal-Tangmarg road, Rs 330 crores for ADB schemes, Rs 54 crores for teacher's scheme, Rs 98 crores for 24 new colleges, Rs 45.60 crores for 14 women ITIS, Rs 142.81 crores for 119 model villages, Rs 80 crores for LAHDC, Rs 248.44 crores for Kashmiri migrants and Rs 250 crores for land acquisitions.
