A JKLF spokesman said the conference, titled ‘The homecoming of Kashmiri Pandit brothers’, would be organised in the third week of April.

“The JKLF has always been concerned over the state of Kashmiri Pandits and has always tried for the return of this inseparable part of our society,” said the spokesman, quoting Malik.

Invitees will include intellectuals, students and other members of the Kashmiri Pandit community.

The spokesman also said an Amnesty International team met Malik at his residence and presented him a report on Public Safety Act, allegedly a draconian law that separatists want revoked.
