More than one crore kanwarias have passed through Delhi-Haridwar national highway and Ganga Canal road in the district.

Delhi-Meerut road (National Highway 58), which was closed for vehicular traffic from August 4 to 11 to ensure smooth movement of kanwarias, has been opened.

The traffic on National Highway 24 which was diverted will be restored from this evening.
