Karnataka Government has felicitated Pandit Bhimsen Joshi, who was honoured with the country's highest civilian award Bharat Ratna.

Pandit Bhimsen was felicitated at his residence last night by Karnataka Urban Development Minister S Suresh Kumar who presented him the traditional 'Kadkam´ garland, an image of Lord Krishna carved out of sandalwood and a cheque of Rs five lakh.
