Karunakaran hospitalised

Veteran Congress leader and former Kerala Chief Minister K Karunakaran was admitted to a private hospital in Thiruvananthapuram on Sunday night with chest infection.

Veteran Congress leader and former Kerala Chief Minister K Karunakaran was admitted to a private hospital in Thiruvananthapuram on Sunday night with chest infection.

Doctors attending on Karunakaran said his condition was stable.

92-year-old Karunakaran was under observation in the cardio-coronary unit, they said.

He was admitted to a hospital here in November last following fever and breathing problems.
