Hurriyat hawk Syed Ali Shah Geelani on Sunday said an unresolved Kashmir issue would have serious consequences for the South Asian region.

"Serious and dangerous future is in store for the region if the Kashmir issue is not resolved," he told a seminar at his residence in Srinagar.

The chairman of the hardline faction of the Hurriyat Conference alleged the Centre was pursuing an unrealistic policy on Kashmir.
