Kayaking and canoeing camp starts
SPORTS AUTHORITY of India (SAI) Central Region has organised two-month long senior national kayaking and canoeing camp at Water Sports Centre, Upper Lake from May 1.

SPORTS AUTHORITY of India (SAI) Central Region has organised two-month long senior national kayaking and canoeing camp at Water Sports Centre, Upper Lake from May 1.
The camp aims at preparing players for the Asian Games to be held in Doha this December. Among the campers are eight international players including DBS Negi, W Amuthombi Singh, Amarjeet Singh, Manoj Kumar, Ching Ching, A Yandhapa, Shanti Sawrup and Ankit Pachauri. In all 16 best players from across the state are participating in the camp.
National coach Devendra Gupta is conducting the camp. Chief coach UR Abhyan will join the camp soon.
