Well-known Kadhaprasangam (story telling) artist Kedamangalam Sadanandan passed away at his residence at Paravoor in Ernakulam District on Sunday morning.

(story telling) artist Kedamangalam Sadanandan passed away at his residence at Paravoor in Ernakulam District on Sunday morning.

He was 84 and survived by wife, son and daughter.

Sadanandan was suffering from lung cancer and was undergoing treatment for sometime, family sources said.

Kedamangalam had also acted in about 80 films, including Swami Ayyappan and written scripts, stories and songs of 12 films. He had last performed on stage on February 16 this year.
