KYKL militant arrested
A militant of banned Kanglei Yawol Kann Lup (KYKL) identified as Thokchom Momo alias Raj (30) was on Tuesday arrested by police commandos in Imphal West district of Manipur, official sources said.

A militant of banned Kanglei Yawol Kann Lup (KYKL) identified as Thokchom Momo alias Raj (30) was on Tuesday arrested by police commandos in Imphal West district of Manipur, official sources said.
Commandos, attached to Imphal West district police station, launched a massive combing operation at Patsoi area in the outskirts of the city during which Momo was arrested along with a 9mm pistol and two rounds of ammunition, the sources said.
Momo has been handed over to Imphal police station for further interrogation, sources said adding that over 100 militants of different outfits have so far been arrested this year.
