Lankan Navy fires at Indian fishermen
About 800 Tamil fishermen were fishing in the midsea when the Sri Lankan navy fired at them.

Tension prevailed in the Rameswaram coastal village after a fisherman sustained injuries in firing by Sri Lankan Navy off Dhanushkoti coast early on Sunday.
Police said the fisherman, Nambirajan, has been admitted to Ramanathapuram government hospital.
About 800 Tamil fishermen were fishing in the midsea when the Sri Lankan navy fired at them, police said.
