The social organisation Nagrik Upbhokta Margdarshak Manch also sent notices to the secretary of the chief minister's office and the principal secretary of Bhopal Gas Tragedy Relief and Rehabilitation Department.
In 2010, the state government had set up one-man judicial commission headed by retired justice SL Kochar to probe into the gas tragedy including the then government's role in arrest, release and safe passage given to Anderson.
Manch's senior activist PG Najpandey said, "The commission was constituted four years back and still we are waiting to know who was responsible for safe passage to Anderson."
'Thus we want the commission to make public its report about who was responsible for the accused to escape from the country', he said adding if the reply to the notices were not received within ten days the organistation will file a PIL in the matter.
