'Malaysia India CEOs Forum' to be launched

The CEOs forum will be launched during a business leaders' meet being organised in Mumbai by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) and the Asian Strategic Leadership Institute (ASLI).

A 'Malaysia India CEOs Forum' is to be launched this week during Malaysian Deputy Prime Minister Mohammed Najib Bin Tun Haji Abdul Razak's eight-day visit that began on Tuesday.

The minister is accompanied by a high-level delegation including 50 business representatives.

The CEOs forum will be launched during a business leaders' meet being organised in Mumbai by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) and the Asian Strategic Leadership Institute (ASLI).

"This meeting will be the launchpad for the 'Malaysia India CEO Forum', a much-awaited event for both CII and ASLI," said CII in a statement on Tuesday.

"The Malaysia India CEO Forum will enable a more focused and 'industry-led' approach to increase bilateral trade and investments. The creation of the forum is expected to mobilise concentrated initiatives to enhance the bilateral economic relationship," CII said.
