Police on Wednesday arrested one Deepesh Tanwar for allegedly misbehaving with a woman magistrate at her residence.

Police on Wednesday arrested one Deepesh Tanwar for allegedly misbehaving with a woman magistrate at her residence here on January 7.

A special team of CID-CB today handed over the accused to the Gandhinagar police station, S.P(south) VKSingh said.

Tanwar had allegedly misbehaved with woman magistrate Meena Awashti, in the presence of her husband and other magistrates, when he was brought by a police team to her residence in an abduction case.

The SHO of Malviya Nagar police station, Rajesh Ojha, who was present at the magistrate's house at the time of the incident, has been suspended.
