Local people created ruckus at the venue, uprooted the barricading, showed black flags to express their anger and shouted slogans against the organisers.
Police had a tough time controlling the situation.
Sensing the seriousness of the situation, saffron brigade leaders Rakesh Singh Pahelwan, general secretary of World Hindu Federation RP Singh, Kunwar Narendra Pratap Singh and others immediately left Nepal and come to Indian side.
The Nepal wing of Shiv Sena had organised Hindu Sangam at Bhainrahwa in which firebrand MP Yogi Adityanath along with former chief minister of Madhya Pradesh Uma Bharti was to participate. However, the duo did not reach there for unknown reasons.
Nepali Shiv Sena leader Arun Suvedi, former minister Bhola Nath Jha, Lalit Joshi, Mohan Chand Adhikari and others arrived at the stage around 12 noon. While the saffron brigade leaders were speaking, Maoists activists too reached there and started shouting slogans against the organisers. They also raised black flags.
