THE SECRETARY of the Masajid Committee Syed Waseemuddin on Sunday resigned from his post. He submitted his resignation to the chairman.
The resignation has come in the wake of incident at Masajid Committee office three days ago when employees had a face-off with Waseemuddin for allegedly forcing them to sing Vande Mataram. He was reportedly manhandled and the enraged employees had reportedly ransacked his chamber.
