Methodists comes to the aid

METHODIST CHURCH would now come forward for the treatment of HIV-positive AIDS patient on a large scale. A formal consensus was evolved at an ongoing meeting of the Bishops of Methodist Church of the country at IT PG College. It was said that an awareness campaign had been carried out and now it was time to work on the treatment of patients at the grass root level. And Methodist Church of the country would now launch a bigger campaign.

Talking to media persons, Bishop SR Thomas said: “It was one of the issue that was thoroughly discussed in the meeting. At a time when the number of HIV AIDS patient is increasing with every passing day, there is a need that more and more people should come forward for treating those patients.” Besides, it was also discussed that course curriculum be made more interesting so that students doesn’t feel overburden.
