Security forces have smashed a militant hideout in Kashmir's Baramulla district and seized a huge cache of arms and ammunition including two solar rockets and six IED detonators besides five-kg explosive powder.

The hideout belonged to Pakistani ultra Abu Qitaal who was arrested in Kupwara district on November 19, officials said in Srinagar on Tuesday.
On the information provided by the arrested militant, the hideout was busted recently at Kreeri-Waripora in Pattan area, some 35-km from Srinagar.
Two solar rockets, four explosive rods, four IED circuits, five-kg explosive powder, six IED detonators, a pistol along with a magazine and six rounds were recovered, the officials said.
An AK magazine, a satellite phone with two batteries, a radio set, a binocular, an anti-tank mine and four IED pipes were also recovered.
