The Executive Council, Working Committee and General Council of the separatist amalgam met at party headquarters at Rajbagh around 11 am, a Hurriyat spokesman said.
The members would also discuss the recent visit of the Hurriyat Chairman to Jammu and the political situation in Jammu and Kashmir, he said.
The meeting assumes significance as Hurriyat constituent People's Conference, led by Bilal Ghani Lone, has asked it to stay away from the talks.
Peoples Conference was part of the Hurriyat delegation which held talks with the Prime Minister last month and earlier with the then Deputy Prime Minister LK Advani.
