Days after his controversial attack on Congress President Sonia Gandhi, Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi again targeted her today for owning ancestral property in Italy even after declaring herself totally Indian.

Addressing election rallies in Vagra, Dediapada and Chota Udepur towns under Bharuch and Chota Udepur parliamentary constituencies, Modi said it is surprising that Sonia continued to own property in Italy even after she married Rajiv Gandhi long back.
He said Indian woman after their marriage live with their in-laws and take pride in owning the property of in-laws giving up their right on the ancestral property.
"Soniaji did not do it and continued to own it in her native country which shows how much she loves India," Modi said.
Modi read out the Congress president's declaration submitted at the time of filing her nomination from Rai Bareli in Uttar Pradesh yesterday.
He said country needed experienced leader like Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee and not an imported one who does not have any experience and rejected the idea of a foreigner ruling the country as it involves the pride of 100 crore people of the country.
