More than 150 take part in blood donation camp

Nirankari Mission in collaboration with district Red Cross society organised a blood donation camp at Katra, in which hundreds of people and followers of mission participated and donated blood.

The camp was inaugurated by deputy commissioner Reasi, Shahid Iqbal Choudhary, who is also the chairman of district red cross society.

The camp was held at Government Higher Secondary School, Katra, and a social function was also organised at the venue. More than 150 persons donated blood in the day-long camp.

The DC in his address underlined the importance of voluntary blood donation and sought wider support for the initiative.

Volunteers from various areas of district reached Katra to donate blood. A large number of students and social workers also participated.

This was 12th blood donation camp organised by the mission with active support of the Red Cross.
