Weatherman attributed the phenomenon to an upper cyclonic circulation over Gujarat which is moving towards Rajasthan.

"Several areas of Rajasthan like Kota are receiving heavy rains for the last two days," the Met Department said.
It forecast light rains and possibly another squall in the next 24 hours.
Delhi had been reeling under sweltering heat over the last few days with maximum temperatures hovering above 40°C and the humidity at all time high.
Maximum temperatures in Delhi touched the season's highest of 44.5°C on May 7 as the minimum peaked at 27.7°C on May 10.
