The former Union minister has said in the letter that despite survey of government, all farmers have not received assistance from government for past crop damages. Due to inclement weather, crops in Shivpuri, Guna and Ashoknagar in Guna parliamentary constituency have been affected, further affecting the farmers financially.

Farmers are also experiencing discrepancy in distribution of crop insurance money, Scindia has said in his letter, adding that these circumstances point at insensitivity of the state government.

The leader demanded through his letter that entire Rabi and Kharif crop damages should be surveyed and adequate compensation and insurance money be paid to farmers. Also their loans should be waived, he has said.
