The victim, an Asha worker, consumed poison at Chapra village on Tuesday after she came to know about the objectionable video being circulated on WhatsApp, city SP Pradeep Gupta said.
On Sunday, the woman was allegedly raped by four persons who also filmed the act, he said.
An FIR has been registered against the accused in the case, police said
One of the accused, identified as Sahib, aged about 23 years, was arrested on Wednesday.
Meanwhile, Asha workers blocked the Delhi-Dehradun National Highway at Chapar for two hours protesting against the incident.
Protesters demanded Rs 20 lakh ex-gratia to the family of ill fated Worker, government job to her husband, life insurance of Asha Workers and capital punishment to the accused in the case.
