It has been a good break for me and the England squad. We get into the one-day mode now. Our One-day and Twenty20 squads are different, so there will be a different feel to the squad. Kevin Pietersen writes.

I don't know how much confidence we can carry forward from our Test series success as our ODI and T20 squads have not had the same kind of results as the Test team.

We are the defending T20 champions, but we will not have that at the back of our minds when we take the field on Wednesday at Manchester.

We have some new people coming in so it will bring a breath of fresh air to the set-up. Some of these guys were not part of the squad last year at the World Twenty20, so there is something to look forward to.

We will have Stuart Broad as captain for the T20 and I am happy for him, because he was Man-of-the-Series in Test matches.

The weather at Manchester is horrible. It has been raining and it is very cold. We ended up training indoors and had some catching practice. But it is not the same as being in the centre and training.

Hopefully, the weather will improve and we'll get some practice before the game.
