No decline in affection towards church: Supreme court Judge

Supreme Court Judge, Justice Cyriac Joseph on Saturday said there was no decline in his affection and love towards the church.
The love and affection he had in the beginning towards the church remained intact even today and it has not declined, Justice Joseph said.
He was speaking at the concluding session of the International Laity Conference organised by Commission for Laity of Syro-Malabar Church, in Kochi. Justice Joseph said he had come to the function as a laity and not as a justice.
He said ‘if there is no metropolitan there is no laity and if there is no laity there is no metropolitan and if both laity and metropolitan are not there then there will be no Church.´
Justice Joseph said media should do justice to themselves and others while reporting speeches. Cardinal Varky Vithayathil, Major Archbishop of Syro-Malabar church, was among those present.
