
One killed in Sopore gunfight
A militant has been killed on Sunday in an ongoing operation of security forces in north Kashmir’s Sopore area. Preliminary reports suggest the militant was killed at Seelu village, Sopore, 55 km north of Srinagar, during a search operation.

A militant has been killed on Sunday in an ongoing operation of security forces in north Kashmir’s Sopore area.
Preliminary reports suggest the militant was killed at Seelu village, Sopore, 55 km north of Srinagar, during a search operation.
The house where the militant was hiding is under a cordon.
The security forces claim the militants fired at them. The retaliatory sparked a gunfight in the area. The operation was started in the morning.
